Fantasy Horse Racing Tips: Sunday September 29 2019
After some big Footy finals action, we have ourselves a 9 race card at Caulfield on Sunday for the Group 1 Hyland Colours Underwood Stakes. There is plenty of action on Sportchamps for all buy-in levels and prize money throughout the day. I have two feature horses I am keen on along with mine and Stew Brown’s “Swoopers” tips if you are playing on Sportchamps.
Sportchamps is the leading provider of fantasy horse racing tournaments and they offer a range of tournaments to suit all budgets. Moneyball also offer a vast range of Horse Racing tournaments to go along with daily fantasy sports contests. Rapidfire on Draftstars, is the easiest way to get involved. Simply pick 5 Horses that are pitted against each other and either pick 3 out of 5 or go for the holy grail of 5 out of 5. There is plenty of prize money up for grabs. Despite the slightly smaller prize pools, options are plenty for those wanting to play across the platforms and we recommend you try out the different sites and options to find out which ones work for you.
Caulfield Race 7 – Hyland Colours Underwood Stakes – 1800m – 4:00pm
#2 Gailo Chop @ $35.00 with Sportsbet
Going with an absolute boilover in the feature of the day. It’s certainly not grand final day for 9yo veteran, Gailo Chop, but leading into this prep, he was trialling the house down and I feel he will pay his return throughout the campaign. At excellent each-way odds, expect the Matthew Williams trained son of Deportivo to cross from the wide gate and likely park in behind Trap For Fools who will look to stack them before the short Caulfield bend. Ridden by Oliver for the first time, he was mediocre at best resuming after he was forced to be vetted behind the barriers. Whether this played a part or not, who knows! Regardless, with an excellent record over the track and distance, I am happy to have something on each-way here.
Caulfield Race 8 – Alfa Romeo Testa Rossa Stakes – 1200m – 4:30pm
#9 Zoustyle @ $3.70 with BetEasy
Forgive the first-up run where 4yo gelding, Zoustyle, lost his first ever race. That was field that would not look out of place in an Everest and his sheer ability cannot be ignored. He gets the gun run and with Prebble on board, after Gollan decided to leave Stewart in Brisbane, he will look to drive up and hold the lead against the rail. The Perth raider, Special Reward, make look to challenge for the lead and if so, may cause havoc for Zoustyle, but I expect him to run his own race and the Melbourne way of going to be the only concern to Zoustyle getting rolled here. It’s tick, tick, tick, and with the drop in the weights over the 6 furlongs, Zoustyle is a great option to build your Sportchamps banks leading into the final races.
Today along with my tips I have Stew Brown's tips about Sunday’s Nine race card at Caulfield featuring the Underwood stakes.
