What a week in sport and racing around the world! This week saw the Grand Final of the Big Bash League as well as the Super Bowl played, and to celebrate the events there were some massive prize pools on offer at daily fantasy sites around Australia! SportChamps

SportChamps continues to grow in popularity as this weekend saw a couple of big racing tournaments. The first of which was the $100 Saturday tournament. It attracted 25 players and offered a prize pool of $4,800. As has become custom at SportChampa, it was Deatac and djnewt at the top of the leaderboard on Saturday, collecting over $2,500 between them and adding to their impressive DFR ranking.

The second big tournament of the weekend was the $50 Sunday racing tournament. It attracted 30 players and offered a prize pool of just over $3,000. It was another DFR member that took the chocolates on Sunday, with HUGGY1974 winning the top prize of just over $880. MR_Brightside and DaNhEnRy collected the minor placings.

Moneyball

The highest paying tournament at Moneyball this week was the massive Thursday Monster NBA tournament, offering $15,000 in guaranteed prize money and attracting a massive 1164 players. A great day from CJ McCollum and Terry Rozier were the highlights in a great win by single entrant ‘LaaBron Jamess’! The winner scored 365.60 points on the day to edge out Plugs27 and bigbuckhunter for the top prize of $1,950.

The Grand Final of this summer’s Big Bash League was played on Friday night and Moneyball celebrated by offering a $6,000 guaranteed tournament for the game between the Strikers and Scorchers. Strikers opener Jake Weatherald smashed a brilliant century and scored a massive 71 fantasy points to lead ‘Colbs’ to a win and a third place, picking up a combined $1,000 for the results.

And to cap off an excellent week at Moneyball, they offered a great tournament for the NFL Super Bowl held on Monday. The tournament attracted 336 players to surpass the guaranteed prize pool and offer $4,340 in prize money. Tom Brady, Chris Hogan and Rob Gronkowski were star performers for the winning team, Moneyball veteran ‘MyFootyBoots’, who scored 148.80 points and collected $875 for the win.
