The BBL10 gets underway on Thursday and at Daily Fantasy Rankings we are back for another whirlwind summer of cricket! Whilst we all know that the world has changed, it is good to know that having nightly (and at times during the day) cricket means plenty of action for Daily Fantasy.

Season 10 of the league has also changed where we can play daily fantasy with Draftstars the only place to play in Australia. But with increased prize pools and plenty of contests for all price points, DFR are back with our Daily Previews for every single game of the tournament. Ensure you check DFR daily for fantasy relevant news and fantasy plays this season.

Are you new to Daily Fantasy Cricket? Then set aside 30 minutes and get the headphones out, as DFR’s very own ‘Smatho’ talks to one of Australia’s most successful cricket fantasy players in ‘JT026’. In the DFR podcast they cover topics such as:

  • Lineup Construction
  • How markets can guide to player performance
  • Do the new rules affect your lineups?
  • What is a ‘donut’ and should you really be playing them?

You can now access the podcast below or search and subscribe to the Daily Fantasy Rankings Podcast on Spotify or Apple Podcasts

Draftstars

Draftstars to their credit have gone BANG with the biggest online contest prize pool to start the tournament! A $40,000 Prize Pool for the Hurricanes and the Sixers is available on Thursday night, eclipsing the old mark of $30,000 pool back in 2017. The $2 Mini tournaments are great for newcomers to the game as well as those with smaller bankrolls and regularly reach prize pools in excess of $1,500. For those who want to hone their mass multi entry skills then the popular ‘Micro’ is back where for $0.50 you can enter up to 100 entries! For those who like to play higher stakes, the $50 entry “Stakes” is back for this season.

Single Entry players are also catered for with a $10 buy-in contest, while cash game players can choose from a range of Double Up, Head to Head and 6-Man contests at different buy-in levels.

The scoring has not changed since last season where bonuses for strike rate and economy rate are key to fantasy scoring. We will be providing full previews based on Draftstars salaries for every game throughout the season.

Sportchamps

For those who fancy picking winning teams rather than players, SportChamps are running season-long contests at a variety of price points and markets. Pools start at $3,000 for the $50 entry all the way down to a $2 entry for a minimum $250 pool. You will struggle to find better value for money than this as you potentially get a full season of BBL10 betting for a one off entry, but you can elect to use up to 10 rebuys if you run out of luck early in the tournament.

No matter which style of Big Bash DFS contests you like to play, you are sure to find something to your liking on season BBL10!
