ICC World Cup – England v Pakistan
Game 6 of the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup will be between host nation England and Pakistan at Trent Bridge on Monday night, Australian time.
England opened the tournament with a comprehensive 104 run win over South Africa, when Ben Stokes top scored with 89 runs and then took 2 wickets as well to be named Man of the Match.
Pakistan were demoralised by the West Indies in their first game, getting bundled all out for 105 off 21.4 overs. The West Indies won by 7 wickets, reaching the target in the 14th over.
MoneyBall and DraftStars will both be running the top fantasy cricket contests. Both sites will have a major contest that offers $3,000 with a $15 entry fee. Both sites also have a plenty of contests with smaller prize money on offer and smaller entry fee’s, which caters for all fans.
Once again, the team at Daily Fantasy Rankings will be providing an exclusive cheat sheet for this game, which you can access right here.
The DFR match-winner is a guaranteed stud who might cost you an arm and a leg, but is going to score well on any given night.
Jason Roy – ENG ($21,560 DraftStars) ($6,800 MoneyBall)
Roy will be the second most expensive player at DraftStars, behind Ben Stokes and will be the fourth most expensive at MoneyBall. He’s the opening batsman for England and scored a solid 54 off 53 balls, hitting 8 boundaries in the process.
Given how quickly Pakistan crumbled against the lower ranked West Indies, England’s top order batsmen could well dominate the scoring here, especially if Pakistan bat first.
The night-watchmen will be a great point of difference in your team and plugging him somewhere in the middle order could be the difference between winning or losing.
Mohammad Amir – PAK ($14,800 DraftStars) ($6,200 MoneyBall)
Amir opens the bowling and was also the only Pakistani to take any wickets in their 7 wicket loss to the West Indies. He took all 3 wickets to be the sole shining light for Pakistan. He is their best chance for wickets against this powerful English side.
Fine-leg to Fine-leg
Anyone who’s played a game of grade cricket before knows that only the duds go from fine leg to fine leg. Avoid these guys like the plague.
Wahab Riaz – PAK ($9,500 DraftStars) ($6,800 MoneyBall)
Riaz is both a lower order batsman for Pakistan and a change bowler. Against West Indies he got punished with the ball, bowling 3.4 overs and being hit for 40 runs, at 10.91 runs per over. He scored a reasonably quick 18 off 11 balls batting at 10, however he is going to be up against a tougher opponent in this game.
