Players of Interest

Darcy Cameron - R - $2,900. Mason Cox is out, this opens the door for Cameron to play back-up ruckman but his role will be up forward. Cameron scored 107 fantasy points (20 min quarters in pre-season) against Richmond in the pre-season back in March, although Cameron was the main ruckman that day with Brodie Grundy rested. Having Grundy in the side limits Cameron’s ability to score, however, Grundy who is the most expensive player on the slate at $9,300 is a tough player to roster.

Jordan De Goey - F - $6,200 De Goey scored 119 fantasy points in their last match in 2019 against Richmond on the back of a 18 Kick, 10 Mark, 10 Handball performance. Captain Scott Pendlebury has indicated that De Goey will roam through the midfield unless the Pies forward is successful up front. One to watch.

Shane Edwards - D - $6,400 Edwards was quiet in the Round 1 match against Carlton and does have a poor fantasy record against Collingwood with 67 and 64 fantasy point efforts in 2019. Does his fantasy output improve when the Tigers are full strength? Tough when better options are cheaper.

Jermey Howe - D - $6,300 Hit three figures fantasy wise against the Bulldogs in Round 1 with 25 disposals and 9 marks. Will Howe have a matchup in the Pies defence or allow to roam over Half-Back? Will be a popular choice.

Chris Mayne - M - $4,900 Highest owned player without doubt on this slate at his price. Mayne’s 29 disposals on the wing with 7 Marks was the standout in the Pies win over the Bulldogs in Round 1. Whilst not an inside midfielder, Collingwood’s fantasy friendly game will suit Mayne against the Tiger. Chalk.
